The Strzelecki Lions Club and partners have recognised the need to prepare a guide to help our people navigate some of the changes and possibilities around us – and especially to welcome new arrivals and help you connect with your communities. That’s how “Getting to Know…. Landscape Country” guide came about.

About this Landscape Country Guide

The guide:

• invites you to explore and discover our villages and countryside

• provides information on both essential and useful local services

• brief descriptions, contact info of shopfronts, community organisations, major events and social/recreation possibilities.

This guide doesn’t try to replicate what the local newspapers, the Council website, Google Maps or a search engine can do much better. Instead, it fills a few gaps and covers a wider range – a sort of One Stop Shop. In many cases, it will refer or link you to a more specific guide.
