The Loch Express is a tremendous little local paper covering almost everything you need to know about happenings, people and businesses in the three villages. A great guide to keep somewhere handy. It’s bi-monthly and available at various places for a gold coin donation. The website www.lochvillage.com also has a wealth of info on Loch Village.

The Sentinel-Times is a weekly local community newspaper (free online, $2 at outlets) which covers excellent local stories and issues for the South Gippsland and Bass Coast

The three villages have key community Facebook groups, plus many others for many of the localities. The most recognised are:

The South Gippsland Shire Council’s website and Facebook cover matters relating to Council functions. Its website is www.southgippsland.vic.gov.au. Council has re-edited its own “A Guide for New Residents”, which has an online version, with QR Codes, so keep an eye out for it. It has excellent in-depth detail on Council-related functions.
